MEMBERSHIP

Membership at WPTC is one of the most affordable in the area and represents great value for money.

New members are always welcome, and there is a special discount for first year adult members and their partners. If you are interested, we urge you to simply come along to social tennis on Tuesday evening or on Sunday afternoon, introduce yourself, have a play and see how you like the place!

Membership runs from the 1st of September each year for 12 months.

New members joining part way through a year may be allowed to make a pro rata payment for the remainder of that year and Intermediates should be within their age category on the last day of August to qualify.

We offer pro-rata rates. Please get in touch to discuss.

Returning Adults - $300 or $560 for a couple

Adults - First year members $270 or $500 for a couple

• Tuesday night club play for adults from 5:00 pm onwards
• Sunday afternoon club play for adults from 2:00 pm onwards
• Opportunity to play interclub
• Use of courts outside club playing times
• A visitors fee of $10 is payable by casual visitors

Note: Interclub for adults is a competition between Auckland clubs played on alternate Saturday afternoons from September through to March. Adult members are eligible to put their names forward for selection in an interclub team.

Tertiary Students $265 with full playing rights

Intermediates - $250 (under 18 as at 31.8.24)

• Friday club night and coaching from 6:00 pm
• Tuesday night club play 5:00 pm onwards
• Sunday afternoon club play from 2:00 pm onwards
• Opportunity to play interclub
• Use of courts outside club playing hours

Juniors - $240 per child (under 15 as at 31.08.24)

• Friday club night and coaching – you will be advised of your coaching time on enrolment
• Use of courts outside club playing hours
• Opportunity to be considered for an interclub team

For junior/intermediate members their parent/caregiver should register/login in their own name and then purchase memberships for the children.  If more than one child please purchase Intermediate or Junior - First Child, and then for the second child purchase  Intermediate or Junior - second child.  This will give you a $10 discount for the second child.
